The publication provoked a lively reaction from subscribers, especially from Kazakhstan. In the comments to the post, many began jokingly attributing the success of the platform to the activity of Kazakhstani users.

"Let's leave the flag of Kazakhstan here so that he understands whose Threads are in general and to whom he owes! I'll start", "When will you give us our Threads, huh? I owe all Kazakhs at least a tick here!" the netizens joked.

Someone remarked ironically: "There are only 20 million in Kazakhstan, Mark," and another commenter clarified: "Half of them are only Kazakhs," hinting at the activity of fellow citizens in the feed.

A lot of comments related to the "Kazakh cake" theme, which has already become a local meme. We told you more about this meme in the article.

"Do you know what's going on with the cake in Kazakhstan?" — one of the users asked.

Others picked up on it:

"Because everyone wants to know if the cake has been paid for in Kazakhstan."
"Sell Threads to the Kazakhs, but no, they haven't paid for the cake yet."
"Did the cake get to you, Mark?"

In fact, according to the latest data, the largest audience shares of Threads are accounted for by:

India — 32 percent;
Brazil — 22 percent;
USA — 16 percent;
Mexico — 8 percent;
Japan — 5 percent.

The rest of the countries, including Kazakhstan, share the rest of the users, however, judging by the activity in the comments, the local community feels like a significant part of the project. Kazakhstanis have repeatedly called Threads a "national social network."
